On the evening of November 25th Malling hosted a Zoom presentation by acclaimed Aviation and Defence photographer Zaid Meherali.
A member of Basingstoke Camera Club for over 10 years and past President, Zaid has also been a Southern Counties Judge for 8 years
Zaid showed images from his catalogue showcasing his work with UK Armed Forces as well as other NATO Countries plus a couple of videos.
Additionally he gave advice on capturing plus subsequent editing of both stationary and moving subjects and also locations and kit used.
Information on appropriate PPE to be considered in some locations and how to go about blagging better access to take close up pictures was welcome.
Despite the dedicated theme of the evening there were tips relevant to fans of feathered birds as well as the – as he put it - 'Tin' kind.
All in all a very interesting evening
