The Malling Camera Club held its second Projected Digital Image (PDI) competition on the evening of December 2nd. Some 27 images were entered across a wide range of genres and indeed locations. Judge for the evening was Steve Caroll FRPS DPAGB who thankfully stood in at the last minute for judge Nick Ryan who had succumbed to one of the current round of bugs. Get well soon Nick and we hope to see you in the new year. Steve gave a thorough critique of all the images shown and offered some good tips and advice for those who didn’t make the final 5. The latter quintet will be available in the gallery on the website. Congratulations to both award winners and the highly regarded, and a special mention for our Les Welton who tempted us all to think outside the box and to look inside the camera. Another mention for newly joined Bev Crump who included in her first Malling competition entry a superb image of competitors in a Polo event that was highly regarded.
